We adore the Arcoiris blouse for it’s intricate pleats and festive embellishments. Known as the “rainbow” or “cozamalotl” blouse in Nahuatl, it has rings of ribbon applied to the neck and sleeves, echoing the arcs of a rainbow. Working with craftspeople in the mountain community of Zompeltepec, Guerrero, we reimagined this blouse in linen fabric and cotton lace. The pared back color showcases the artistry of this traditional garment.
