This handsome clay "salsera" is crafted by hand in Colima. Famous since pre-Hispanic times for their pottery, Colima artisans began using the "Barro bruñido," technique to seal containers they used to transport water.
The characteristic shine comes from rubbing the pieces' surface with a river or quartz stone to seal the pigments before firing.
Available in Negro and Natural, these salseras will beautifully hold your favorite snacks and garnishes.
